Yoga and Mindfulness Sessions
Mindfulness is paying attention to your life- your thoughts, emotions, body sensations, stories you tell yourself about yourself and others, and what's happening in the environment around you through the lens of curiosity and gentleness. Yoga is breath, movement, the ability to sustain focus, relaxation, and how you treat yourself and others. In private yoga sessions we work together and explore your patterns of movement, breath, and thoughts and decide which patterns are serving to your well being and which you want to change. My style of teaching adapts to the needs of the individual.
Sessions are typically 60-90 minutes
Family Yoga and Mindfulness Sessions
This is the opportunity to learn and explore with your child, or for your children to practice yoga together. I offer privates for children and for families to get a deeper understanding of yoga and mindfulness and how it can support your family in your daily life. This is a wonderful way for parents to connect with their children, and siblings to interact with each other in new ways. Sessions include learning breath work for regulating energy levels, embodied movement, practices to sustain your focus, practices to relax your body and mind and help with falling asleep and having fun.
Sessions are typically 45-60 minutes
What do you want for your life? What is your ideal vision for your life? Where are the areas that you feel stuck? In what ways do you want to grow? Each coaching session we look at different areas of your life- relationships with self and others, relationship with your body, your emotional life, your relationship to money, and work. With curiosity, gentleness and self awareness we uncover where you limit yourself and where you wish you could be. You learn how to write a coherent narrative of your past, the tools to change the un-serving learned patterns where you limit yourself so you can take the steps to where you want to go and make lasting changes for your life. This goes beyond a therapeutic approach to growth which primarily focuses on healing wounds from the past. Rather, it helps you envision what you most desire and create it. If you discover wounds along the way, you have the compelling power of your dreams to help get unstuck and move forward. I work with individuals, couples and families.
